Connect Pipedrive, ActiveCampaign or Brevo so the AI can find contacts and deals for you - and, if you allow it, add contacts and create deals.

3 min read · Updated 28 September 2026

Connect your CRM and your pipeline becomes something you can talk to. Ask which deals are stuck at a stage, who the contact is at an account, or for a follow-up draft built from the real deal. Connections are read only until an admin turns on write access.

One request: find the deals at Proposal Made in Pipedrive, then email a summary with the contacts.

Supported CRMs

CRMCredentialsWhat the AI can do
PipedriveAPI tokenSearch and list contacts and deals; with write access, add and edit contacts and create deals
ActiveCampaignYour account API URL and API keyEverything above, plus read your contact lists and tags
BrevoAPI keyEverything above, plus read your contact lists

Each CRM can be connected once per workspace.

Connect a CRM

  1. Get an API credential from your CRM

Create the token or key in your CRM’s settings. If your CRM lets you, use a dedicated user or key for StickyPrompts so you can see its activity and revoke it on its own.

  2. Open Add connection and pick the CRM

Go to Integrations, select Add connection, choose Workspace (shared with everyone) or Personal (just you), then filter by CRM and select Pipedrive, ActiveCampaign or Brevo. Only workspace owners and admins can add workspace connections.

  3. Name it and paste the credentials

Give it a name and a description the team will recognise, such as Pipedrive - Sales and Northwind sales pipeline: organisations, people and deals. Paste the API token (Pipedrive), the API URL and API key (ActiveCampaign) or the API key (Brevo).

  4. Decide on write access

Leave Allow write access off to keep the connection read only. Turn it on only if you want the AI to add and edit contacts and create deals in your CRM.

  5. Save

StickyPrompts checks the credentials with your CRM before saving. The connection then appears under CRM on the Integrations page, marked Connected.

Read only or write access

Read only (default)With Allow write access

Find and list dealsYesYes

Add a contactNoYes

Create a dealNoYes

If someone asks for a change on a read-only connection, the change is refused and nothing is written. A deal is always created against an existing contact, found by email address, so add the contact first if it is new.

What to ask

Find the deals in Pipedrive that are at Proposal Made, then email a short
summary with the contacts to sales@northwind.example.
Who is our contact at Hawthorne Goods, and what open deals do they have?
Add Daniel Kowalski (d.kowalski@summitsports.example, Summit Sports) as a
contact, then create a deal "Summit Sports - Enterprise" for 24,000 USD.

Here is the first request, finished. The model searched Pipedrive, matched contacts, built the table and sent the email - 17 tool actions from one sentence.

The phone column reads [phone] because the workspace's guardrails redact phone numbers.

Read the note at the end of the reply. Pipedrive returned stage numbers, not names, so the AI explained which stage it treated as Proposal Made and why. When an answer rests on an assumption like that, check it against your own pipeline before acting on it.

When no CRM is connected

If you ask about your CRM before one is connected, the AI says so and offers a Connect a CRM button right in the reply. Connect it, then ask again.

Tips

  • Name the stage, the pipeline or the owner in your request. “Deals at Proposal Made in the Sales pipeline” gets a tighter answer than “open deals”.
  • Combine with email. With an email connection too, lookups and follow-ups happen in one request.
  • Automate the routine. A workflow can send a pipeline digest every Monday morning.
  • Personal data stays governed. Guardrails apply to CRM data too, so phone numbers and other sensitive fields can be redacted before they reach the model.
