Prompt library

Save the prompts that work, share them with your team and run them in one click. The library is where good prompts stop living in someone's notes app.

Most teams already have a handful of prompts that reliably produce good work: the launch email, the ticket summary, the weekly report. The prompt library turns those into shared, reusable building blocks. Each saved prompt carries its own model, tools, files and response style, so whoever runs it gets the same quality result.

Picking a saved prompt, filling in its variables and running it.

Find a prompt

Open Prompts in the left sidebar. The library has two navigation groups on the left and the prompt cards on the right.

YOUR LIBRARY sets whose prompts you see:

ScopeWhat it shows
FeaturedReady-made prompts to start from.
My PromptsPrompts you created.
WorkspacePrompts shared with everyone in your workspace.
Shared with mePrompts a colleague shared with you directly.

BROWSE BY narrows the list by category: Marketing, Sales, UX, Productivity, General Business Communication, HR & Recruitment, Coding, Communication & Negotiation and Other. Use Search to find a prompt by name, and the AI Models menu to show only prompts set to a particular model.

Every card shows the category, the name, a short description and the model the prompt runs on.

Try a prompt

  • Try in chat opens a new chat with the prompt ready to go. If the prompt has variables, you fill them in first.
  • Preview shows the full prompt so you can check what it does before you run it.
  • The star on a card marks it as a favorite.

Running a prompt never changes it. You get a normal chat that you can continue, branch or share.

Create a prompt

  1. Choose New prompt

In Prompts, select New prompt. The prompt editor opens on the Studio tab.

  2. Name it and write the prompt

Give it a clear name, such as Renewal Check-in Email. Then write the prompt in the PROMPT box the way you would brief a colleague: the task, the context, the tone and the length.

Anything that changes from run to run - a customer name, a date, a product - goes in double curly braces, like {{contact_name}}. StickyPrompts detects these automatically and lists them in the VARIABLES panel. See Prompt variables.

  3. Choose tools, files, model and style

Below the prompt, set up everything the prompt needs to do its job (see the table below). These settings travel with the prompt, so every run uses them.

  4. Save and run

Select Save. Then use Run chat to open the prompt in a chat, or the Test prompt tab to try it with sample values first.

What a prompt carries with it

SettingWhat it does
TOOLSSwitch on Web Search for live results with sourced links, connect Remote MCP servers, or allow Image Generation for inline images. Speech Generation is marked Coming soon.
ATTACHED FILESReference files the model reads on every run, such as a style guide or a price list. Select Attach or drop a file. Documents, spreadsheets, images and many text and code formats are accepted.
AI MODELThe model the prompt runs on. Pick the best model for the job: a drafting prompt and a data-analysis prompt may want different ones. See Models.
RESPONSE STYLEHow the answer is written, for example Prompty, Chatty or a custom style. See Response styles.

Favorite, duplicate, share

The buttons at the top of the editor manage the prompt itself:

  • Favorite marks the prompt so it is quick to find again.
  • Duplicate makes a copy you can change without touching the original. Useful for a variant in another language or for another team.
  • Delete removes the prompt.

The Share tab controls who else can use the prompt. Prompts shared with you show up under Workspace or Shared with me, depending on how they were shared.

Tips for prompts people actually reuse

  • Write for the reader of the output. “Max 120 words. End with one clear question.” beats “keep it short”.
  • One job per prompt. A prompt that drafts an email and also summarises a call is harder to reuse than two focused ones.
  • Name it by outcome. Renewal Check-in Email is easier to find than Email prompt v3.
  • Test before you share. Run it with two or three realistic inputs on the Test prompt tab and read every result.
