Search, history and sharing
Jump anywhere with Command-K search, find any past conversation in Chat History, share a chat, file it in a project, and work together in team chats.
Good answers are worth keeping. StickyPrompts keeps every conversation, and gives you three ways back to them: the search palette for a quick jump, Chat History for a proper search, and the recent chats in the sidebar. When a chat is useful to others, share it, file it in a project, or have the conversation in a team chat from the start.
Search from anywhere
Press ⌘K, or select Search in the sidebar, to open the search palette. From one box you can:
- find and open your Prompts, or go to the Prompt Library;
- start a New Chat;
- go to your Chat History;
- rerun one of your recent prompts.
Type to narrow the list, then select a result. It is the quickest way to get back to a prompt you use every day without leaving the page you are on.
Chat History
Chat History in the sidebar lists your conversations, newest first, grouped by day.
- Totals (1) at the top: Total chats, chats This week and Messages loaded.
- Search chats by title or content… (2) finds a chat by any word in its title or in the conversation itself. Searching for “Pipedrive” finds every chat where deals came up, even if the title doesn’t mention it.
- Each entry shows the title, the start of the latest message, where the chat lives (for example PRIVATE CHATS), how many messages it has and the credits it used (3).
- The arrow on the right reopens the chat, so you can carry on where you left off. The bin icon (4) deletes it.
The sidebar also keeps your most recent chats under the TEAM switcher, so for anything from the last few days you rarely need the full history.
Share a chat
Open the chat and select Share in the header. Sharing is the easiest way to hand a colleague a finished draft, a piece of research or a worked example of a prompt, together with the conversation that produced it.
A chat can be shared with the members of your workspace, with any signed-in StickyPrompts user, or publicly through a link. Chat info (2), next to Share (1), shows details about the conversation.
Branch a chat
To try a different direction without losing what you have, use the branch icon under a reply. StickyPrompts creates a new chat with a copy of the conversation up to that point, keeping the same model, style and reasoning settings. The original chat stays exactly as it was.
Move chats into a project
When several chats belong to the same piece of work, such as the Northwind Analytics launch, move them into a project. The chat then appears in the project’s Chats tab, next to the project’s files, prompts and instructions. New chats you start inside a project automatically include the project’s files.
Team chats
The TEAM switcher in the sidebar shows Personal Chats by default. Switch to one of your teams, such as Marketing or Sales, to see and start that team’s chats. Everyone in the team can read and contribute.
In a team chat with more than one member, the AI does not answer every message, so colleagues can talk to each other in the thread. To bring the AI in, mention @ai in your message, or mention an agent that has been added to the chat by its handle, for example @support-triage.
Teams are set up by workspace admins. See Users and teams.
